Ignacio Pons (5th grade BIO+CCAA), together with María Fernández and June Zubiaurre -students of the University of Mondragon-, have obtained the recognition for the best municipal proposal in the framework of the II laboratory of Rural Innovation VIVID, held in San Martín de Unx last September 28th and 29th. The winning work provided a plan with different ideas to improve the entrepreneurship of the population of Lesaka.

This initiative, in which young people from other universities participated, consisted of an open innovation process in which the rural municipalities of San Martín de Unx, Bargota, Lesaka and Kuartango proposed to the students, through their mayors, a challenge of development that concerns their municipality.

This activity, which has been organized by Fundación Emplea and the City Council of San Martín de Unx, has had the support of department of Social Rights of the Government of Navarra and has been financed by the European Union through the NextGeneration funds.
