Best oral communication and third award to the best thesis in an international congress

Teresa Simón and Edurne Imbuluzqueta, researchers at the School of Pharmacy of the University of Navarra, have been awarded prizes at an international congress that brought together more than a hundred experts in controlled drug release in Valencia. The event was organized by the Controlled Release Society (CRS) from November 10 to 12.
Teresa Simón won the award for the best oral communication for a work on growth factors for the treatment of myocardial infarction. The award consisted of the registration to the CRS annual meeting to be held in 2014 in Chicago, and the one to be held in 2015 in Granada, as well as 500 euros.
Edurne Imbuluzqueta won the third prize award for the best thesis , among 20 papers presented, for her research on controlled release of antibiotics for the treatment of intracellular diseases.
For attend at congress both researchers received a scholarship from mobility, funded by Evonik Pharmaceuticals.
