Tantaka, the Solidarity Time Bank of the University of Navarra, has collected more than 7,300 kilos of clothes, toys, hygiene products and medicines in its Christmas Campaign.
The materials have been distributed, through Caritas, to different parishes in Pamplona, to the association Madre Coraje, to the María Inmaculada and to the Paris 365 soup kitchen. residency program María Inmaculada and the Paris 365 soup kitchen.
This year, the "High Five for Venezuela" initiative has been added to the campaign , with the aim of helping Venezuelans who do not have basic necessities at their disposal, goal . Thus, 300 kilos of hygiene products and medicines have been collected and will go to 150 families in the Latin American country.
The distribution to the groups was made possible thanks to the volunteers of Maintenance Service of the University and different youth associations (Quinto Real, Alaiz and Lantegui).
