The University of Navarra has begun the preliminary work for the construction of the new Economics, Law and Masters building. The 14,596 m2 building will be located next to the Law building School and both sites will share a single entrance and will be connected internally. In principle, the construction of the building, designed by Professor Juan Miguel Otxotorena of School of Architecture , is expected to take 22 months.

This project is marked by the redefinition of curricula and degrees brought about by the Bologna Declaration, as well as by the prominence acquired in the university world by the teaching of postgraduate program. Thus, the building will include classrooms and seminars of various sizes, aimed at small groups of students, as well as rooms suitable for the teaching of new Master's Degree and doctorate programs. In addition to teaching uses, it will also house faculty offices and some of the University's central services.

Likewise, when implementing this project , two basic aspects have been worked on to guarantee the environmental performance of the building: energy production and consumption, and minimization of maintenance.
