Science against crime, "mundane" microorganisms, the Chemistry at home and how plants conquered the Earth, at the Science JPAs.
Nearly fifty students participated in the April Open House conference
The Open Doorsconference of the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra gathered at Hexagon Building almost fifty students of 1st and 2nd of high school diploma, who enjoyed a workshop designed both for them and for their parents.
Organized in two blocks of practices -Chemistry/Biochemistry and Biology/Environmental Sciences-, the experiments were oriented to allow students to work in the laboratory as they will do if they take the Degrees of the School. In the case of the first block, two practices entitled "La Chemistry en tu casa" and "La ciencia contra el crimen"(Science against crime) were organized. Those of the second block were "The microorganisms that surround us" and "The conquest of the Earth by plants".
The attendees came mainly from Navarre, the Basque Country and the Valencian Community.
