Roniel Sulit Bellera arrived in Pamplona four years ago from his native Philippines to study theology at the University of Navarra. This 23 year old seminarian dedicates his free time, among other things, to drawing and design. His talent is evident, and that is what more than 500 people who have voted for his proposal on Facebook agree: the poster he has presented to the contest organized by the Sports Service will be the one to announce the Sports Day 2016.

How did you come up with the winning proposal poster result ?
I think the concept came to me when I was in my room and suddenly I saw my sneakers. The first thing I did was to search the internet for previous University Sports Day posters, to see how they presented the necessary elements of the poster (the images, the mandatory texts, the University logo, etc.). Then I looked at the "XXIII" of this XXIII edition of the Sports Day. I wanted it not to remain as mere letters, but as an essential element of the poster. In addition, to highlight the issue, I wanted to use something that has to do with sport. I came up with the idea of drawing the XXIII using the laces of a sneaker. And, to complete it, in the shoe print I represented some sports.

Is this the first time you have entered a poster contest?
Yes, it is the first time I enter a poster contest, in digital format. In the high school I used to participate in some contests, but drawing by hand and I won some of them.

What does it mean to see that your poster has been liked by more than 500 people who have voted for it on Facebook?
I am very grateful to the 500+ people who took a few minutes just to "like" my poster. I would also like to thank the team at Sports Service at the University for the opportunity to share my God-given talent.
