The study was carried out by Blanca Lizarraga, nurse and Alumni of School of Nursing, Hildegart González, PhD in communication and professor at School, and Nerea Elizondo, nurse and assistant director of ambulatory care and diagnostic support at the University Hospital of Navarra.

The development of management competencies in nursing encompasses more than management of the internship clinical . The full training at management in nursing includes leadership, participation and political decision making through development multiple communication skills and the application of ethics, among others.

The team would like to give continuity to this project of research through an analysis that allows mapping and diagnosing what training is being taught in this field in the Schools and Nursing Schools in Spain.
