Arantza Campo, new Vice-Dean of the School of Medicine

Professor Arantza Campo has been appointed Vice-Dean for Alumni and Office of Academic Affairs of the School of Medicine, a position previously held by the new Dean of the School, Secundino Fernandez.
Arantza Campo is a physician consultant of Pneumology in the Clínica Universidad de Navarra (CUN), Professor of Internal Medicine, Deputy Director of the Clinical training Unit and has been Professor assistant to the Office of Student Affairs of the School of Medicine. Arantza Campo has a degree in Medicine and Surgery (1994) from the University of the Basque Country and a PhD in Medicine from the University of Navarra (2008). She joined the CUN in 2000.
From 2008 to 2010 he conducted a research stay at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore (USA), on pulmonary hypertension. His current area of research focuses on the clinicalessay of mesenchymal stem cells for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. He has collaborated as researcher in three projects funded by the Instituto Carlos III in relation to lung cancer.
