The works of the five finalists of the Landscape Photography Contest of Navarra 'Alfredo Floristán' are already known.
The jury's decision will be made public on March 9 as part of the Geography Olympiad organized by the University of Navarra.
A total of 40 students from 7 schools in Navarre, from 1st ESO to 2nd year of secondary school, have participated in the contest of Landscape Photography of Navarre 'Alfredo Floristán'. high school diploma have participated in the contest of Landscape Photography of Navarra 'Alfredo Floristán', launched this year by the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra in partnership with the City Council of Arguedas and the AGE (association of Geographers of Spain).
The five finalist works have been submitted to the national contest of the AGE. The winner of the regional phase of this contest, named after Alfredo Floristán Samanes, author of the Gran Atlas de Navarra, Full Professor , will be announced on March 9 and will win an iPad Mini.
This photo contest is one of the two activities related to Geography aimed at schoolchildren that are organized annually by the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra, together with the high school of Geographers of Navarra and in partnership with other entities. The images submitted to the contest, which can be seen here, will be shown at a exhibition next March 9th from 10 am to 2 pm.
On the other hand, in the Geography Olympiad, which this year celebrates its eighth edition, 28 students of 2nd grade have enrolled in the Geography Olympiad, from 8 schools of Pamplona. high school diplomastudents from 8 schools in Pamplona.
