The Times Higher Education Impact Ranking has ranked the University of Navarra among the top 50 in the world for its contribution to work decent and economic growth, as well as care for life on earth. development The ranking, which is based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), has assessed that the University of Navarra has obtained the 48th position in the world in SDG 8: work decent and economic growth and in SDG 15: Life of terrestrial ecosystems. It has also obtained positions 75 in SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, 94 in SDG 2: Fight against Hunger and 99 in SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
The University of Navarra, which has proposed as goal in its Strategy 2025 to contribute to sustainable development and to the care of people and the environment, is ranked 201-300 in the world in terms of its global contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals development . In addition, it has achieved positions 101-200 in its contribution to SDG 1: Fight against poverty, SDG 3: Health, SDG 14: Aquatic life and SDG 16: Peace, justice and strong institutions. The ranking, in which more than 1,100 universities from all over the world have participated in this edition, studies both the research carried out, the university's internal policies and the external contribution to local communities in each of the SDGs.
