Sports Day celebrated its 25th anniversary

It is a party open to everyone, and among the novelties there will be an obstacle course degree program and a color degree program , both for charity.

The University of Navarra celebrates the XXV edition of the Sports Day. A meeting in which more than 5000 people are expected and in which will be disputed, as a novelty, an obstacle course degree program and a carrea of color, both with asolidarity purpose.

This is the Holi Cross Coewhich will begin at 6:30 p.m., and will fill with color the campus of the University with the launching of colored powders. The event will serve to finance the congress of Oncology for Students, organized by the students of the School of Medicine of the University of Navarra and that has as goal to promote the research for the cure of cancer. 

The second novelty will be the Gladiators Dayan obstacle course degree program , with loads, drags, crawls, crawls, walls, balances, etc. The competition will start at 9:00 and will last until 13:30, when the final will take place. Also this degree program will be in solidarity, in favor of the association Niños contra el Cáncer.

On this 25th anniversary, the Sports Day will include more than 65 activities for all ages, including the Great Challenge, a Zumba Master Class, squash tournaments, paddle tennis, volleyball, 3x3 soccer, 3x3 basketball and golf, a photography contest sponsored by Ford Irusa, as well as exhibitions of cesta punta, acrobatics -at position of the Backflip center- or figure skating, starring the AD. Noáin.

Activities for children

The workshop will also include activities for children: inflatables, zip line, face painting, experiment workshop, swimming pool with water boats, etc. Also, Rafa Usin and Javi Eseverri, player and former player of the Navarre soccer team conference room Osasuna Magna, and promoters of the Futsal Academy, will offer an exclusive training activity based on their experience and trajectory.

The initiative, aimed at children from six years old, aims to improve individual quality, mental agility and team work . It will take place from 11 a.m. on the artificial grass soccer field.

Javier Trigo, director of Sports Service of the University of Navarra, recalled that "Sports Day is a celebration open to everyone".
