Tropical Health Institute Workshop
The 50 researchers of the center will share the main advances developed during two days at conference .
The high school of Tropical Health of the University of Navarra celebrates, on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd, its open doorsworkshop to present the main advances made by its 50 researchers in the last year.
In short sessions of 15 to 20 minutes, scientists from each area will explain the work developed at knowledge and the fight against malaria, shigellosis, Chagas disease, leishmaniasis, brucellosis and pathogen immunology. Posters developed in some of these areas will also be exhibited and a novel device for research called Cytation 5 imaging reader will be presented.
According to the director of high school, Dr. Paul Nguewa, "this Workshop aims to share the work developed by the researchers in the last year, and to share it with the rest of the University and society in general, whose support is essential in the fight against these endemic diseases in the poorest countries".
