Ester Masa, a graduate in Pharmacy from the University of Salamanca, is a student of Master's Degree in design Galenic and Manufacturing in the Pharmaceutical Industry and is currently doing her paid internship at GlaxoSmithKline 's production department in Aranda de Duero (Burgos).
"I have been fortunate to join a mature and experienced team in tablet manufacturing where I am learning that production is an unpredictable department where the protagonists are continuous change and constant improvement," says Ester.
On the other hand, the student affirms having discovered through the internship "the role that the pharmacist plays in a team multidisciplinary of these characteristics, contributing his technicalknowledge on the processes and his critical opinion". For all these reasons, Ester concludes: "choosing this Master's Degree was a good decision, especially because of the training internship it offers".
This year, the students are in paid internships with companies such as Baxter, Novartis, GSK, Teva, 3P Biopharmaceuticals and Laboratorios Cinfa. Upon completion of the Master's Degree, the student acquires technical knowledge and experience internship in drug development. This facilitates their rapid incorporation into the labor market, occupying positions of great responsibility in the pharmaceutical and related industries, as well as in the Health Administration.
