University nursing students give workshops to children in 3rd grade to generate a culture of health

The sessions, in which they will be taught how to perform cures, pulmonary resuscitation and emotional management, among others, will take place on 27 and 28 April.

The University of Navarra, through the classroom Saludable of the School de Enfermería, has the goalto provide resources to the child population so that children can be agents of health.

For this reason, the third year Nursing students will be giving various workshops to 3rd year students of EducationInfants through a service-learning activity of the School. The next sessions will take place on 27th (9.50am to 1.15pm) and 28th April (9am to 11.30am) in the simulation centre at School.

The workshops will consist of teaching them how to cure a wound and prepare a first aid kit, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emotional management. To carry out these sessions, two nursing students, who are studying the subjectNursing Care in Childhood and Adolescence and leading the project, have received trainingprior by Eqües Navarra to be able to instruct their peers (65 students) through the trainingby peers.
