The University launches a permanent training program in spiritual accompaniment and conflict resolution.

It consists of 18 credits and will be taught at the Pamplona campus between October 26 and December 7, 2023.

The School of Theology of the University of Navarra, in partnership with the School of Education and Psychology, has launched the training Permanent Program in spiritual accompaniment and conflict resolution. It is a degree scroll of the academic center that has as goal to work on the skills of accompaniment and conflict resolution.

The course will be held at the Pamplona campus between October 26 and December 7, 2023, and is aimed at people involved in the human and Christiantraining , in spiritual accompaniment and in the governance of educational or ecclesial institutions. It is also of interest to educators, psychologists, health professionals and other humanistic areas who wish to learn more about the interrelationships between the organic, psychological, moral and spiritual dimensions of the person.

"This program will provide participants with the basic tools to correctly approach and help people who have problems in their lives staff, family, social and work life. During the program we will also work on the most frequent causes of conflicts between people and between people and institutions", says José María Pardo, director of the Program.

It is composed of four subjects, which will focus on different scenarios of Christian life (priesthood, consecrated life and laity). It will address the centrality of freedom in the choice staff and in the life of the person. The influence of psychic factors, personality and external circumstances on the moral and spiritual life of the person will also be discussed. Thirdly, the detection, classification, influence and treatments of the most relevant psychiatric disorders will be studied in depth. Finally, we will work on the approach and resolution of personal, family and community conflicts.

The Permanent training Program in spiritual accompaniment and conflict resolution is independent and at the same time complementary to the Permanent training Program in Psychology and moral life. Although it is advisable to have previously done the Program in Psychology and Moral Life, with a more theoretical approach , there is no inconvenience in starting with the Program in Spiritual Accompaniment and Conflict Resolution, which has a more practical approach .
