More than 200 people have attended the VI EDUSFARM congress
- In the last workshop the prizes for the best oral communication and subject poster were awarded to the universities of Valencia and Costa Rica.
The VI congress of Education Higher of Pharmaceutical Sciences, held at the University of Navarra, has closed with 108 registered participants and the participation of more than 200 people from 21 universities, 20 of them national and one foreign university.
In addition to the round tables on innovation professor, the profile demanded by employers, the value of international experience in pharmacy programs of study and on final projects Degree, 60 papers were presented at congress , eight in oral form and 52 in the form of poster.
The best proposals in each category were selected. On the one hand, the best oral communication went to Luis Esteban Hernández Soto, from the University of Costa Rica, for his discussion paper on the material educational applied to the university teaching for use in training courses for pharmaceutical professionals. In the case of the best communication subject poster , the award went to a work prepared by members of the University of Valencia on the combination of the model of class inversa and the puzzle technique in pharmacology and pharmacotherapy seminars. In light of the results obtained, this methodology favors the autonomous work of the students, their communication skills and cooperation, since both the coordinators and the different teams that tried this technique learned the subject matter and felt co-responsible for the final achievement, as stated in the work.
At congress , Mr. José Manuel Vega, Dean of the University of Seville, was re-elected as president of the lecture .
