The first seminar the course organized by the group , Reason, and Faith group (CRYF) was given by Rubén Herce Fernández, professor of Philosophy of Science at the Ecclesiastical School of Philosophy and a member of committee the interdisciplinary journal Scientia et Fides.
The recurring question about the origin of the human being can be approached from Theology, from Philosophy and from Science. The speaker presented an overview of what science is telling us today about the origin of the human lineage. His approach sparked a lively discussion in which all three perspectives were present.
