Professor Carlos Chocarro joins the University Museum as director Academic and Public Programs.

Carlos Chocarro, professor at School of Architecture, joins the University of Navarra Museum team as director Academic and Public Programs. Among his main functions are the scientific coordination of the Museum's own research and that generated with other centers of the University; the design of public educational activities, Degree and post-Degree; and the scientific direction of publications.

Carlos Chocarro is graduate in Philosophy and Letters (Geography and History) and PhD in Art History from the University of Navarra. His research work has focused on topics such as the artistictraining in the field of academies and professional workshops of artists, origins of the historiography of Spanish art, as well as the discussion on the integration of the arts in architecture in the twentieth century.

She is currently researcher principal of a project of the Ministry of Science and Innovation (2011-2013)"The speech of Modernity" and participates in a project with the School of Fine Arts of Madrid and the Reina Sofia Museum on"Art and Education in the era of academic capitalism". He has research stays at the Library Services Hertziana in Rome; at the Università IUAV di Venezia, in whose school of doctorate he directed a seminar on"Baroque and modernity, crossroads of art and historiography" in December 2011; and at the Library Services French National in Paris, with funding from the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.
