This morning took place the signature of agreement between the MNAC and the Museo Universidad de Navarra. The two directors, Pepe Serra and Miguel López-Remiro respectively, haveformalized their intention to carry out joint actions that contribute to expand art and culture to society.

This agreement is an extension of the one that already existed between the MNAC and the Photographic Fund of the University of Navarra; and responds to the recent creation of the Museum of the University of Navarra, which includes this fund, as well as a new collection of works of art, the result of a recent donation, consisting of 47 pictorial and sculptural pieces from the avant-garde and contemporary period. The University of Navarra Museum is a contemporary art museum of a university nature. Work has just begun on its construction, at campus in Pamplona, and it will open its doors in 2014.
