The School of Nursing resolves doubts about its admissions process in two online sessions
Nearly 300 candidates and their families were able to resolve any questions related to the process of Admissions Office, accommodation and funding of the programs of study

The School of Nursing has decided not to carry out this year the test of Admissions Office scheduled for next April 25. Given the confinement status derived from the coronavirus pandemic, the possibility was raised of conducting such examination online. However, in order to prevent candidates from being disadvantaged by possible technical problems or by a difficulty in accessing the necessary technology, it has been decided to substitute the value of that test for the results obtained by the student in 2nd year of high school diploma. In this way, the criteria for the Admissions Office, the grade of 1st of high school diploma (60%) and the grade of 2nd of high school diploma (40%) are established.
Although this decision has already been communicated individually to the students who have applied for Admissions Office in the Degree of Nursing for the next academic year, it was necessary to organize two sessions to resolve any doubts that the change might raise.
In these sessions, held online, families were also informed of the important dates of the process that they should keep in mind: when they will be informed if they have been admitted or not, the deadline to make the pre-registration and the date on which the waiting list will run. Financing of the programs of study and accommodation was also discussed.
After this brief exhibition, it was time for questions. For almost an hour, the candidates and their parents were able to ask questions about the deadlines, the issue , the EVAU or the different diplomas of the Degree.
In addition, the manager of Admissions Office of the School, Eduardo Herrero, offered a follow-up to each family that requests it between now and the date of the first resolutions, to solve any problem related to the economic aspect, of accommodation or of the different formative itineraries offered by the School of Nursing.
In total, nearly 300 candidates and their families participated in these sessions.
