The University of Navarra, next venue for an international Family Nursing congress

For the first time in Spain, representatives from more than 30 countries will meet at School Nursing in 2017

The association International Family Nursing Association (International Family Nursing Association - IFNA) has designated the School of Nursing of the University of Navarra as the venue for the 13th International Family Nursing congress . Thus, in June 2017, for the first time in Spain, experts in family and community nursing from more than 30 countries will meet at the academic center of Navarra.

According to Cristina García-Vivar, vice-dean of research of the School of Nursing and member of the board board of directors of the IFNA, "this election is a recognition of the commitment to research multidisciplinary in the field of the family that is carried out in different centers of the University of Navarra, both at its Institute for Culture and Society and in the Schools of Law, Economics, Architecture, Communication, Theology, Philosophy and Letters, Education and Nursing".

The 12th biennial event is being held this year in Odense, Denmark, under the theme "Improving Family Health Globally through Research, Education, and Practice". The international meeting will take place in August.
