The School of Architecture signature a protocol with Mitma to promote the action plans of the Spanish Urban diary
The University Secretary of diary Urban and Housing, Iñaqui Carnicero, has signed seven protocols of action with universities and schools of architecture, thus complying with other milestones of the action plan itself.

The Ministry of Transport, mobility and Urban diary (Mitma), as it has statement in a press grade , has signed thirteen protocols of action with local entities, universities and schools of architecture, among which is that of the University of Navarra, to collaborate in the development of their action plans of the Spanish Urbandiary .
The director of the School of Architecture of the University, Carlos Naya, attended the event for the signature of the protocol. "With this adhesion, the School joins a new way of working that addresses issues relevant to cities and aims to improve people's lives. These objectives are present in our day-to-day work and we put them on internship both on teaching and research as well as on the ordinary management of life in our campus", assures Carlos Naya.
The event, which was also attended by the general director of diary Urbana y Arquitectura, Nuria Matarredona, proceeded to the signature of seven protocols of action with different schools and universities that, since the consideration of the Spanish Urban diary , have been collaborating with the Ministry in its implementation in the academic field.
In this way, the Ministry assures that "it institutionalizes the recognition of work that is being done from the university to bring students of different training and levels the importance of the Spanish Urban diary as a methodology for strategic planning of cities and as tool to land in the territory and in the training urban goals of the diary 2030".
Specifically, the agreements have been signed with the University of Granada, the University of Valladolid, the University of Castilla-La Mancha, the Universidad Nacional de Education a Distancia, the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de la Universidad de Navarra, and the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de la Universidad del País Vasco.
The University Secretary of diary Urban and Housing, Iñaqui Carnicero, has valued the "necessary partnership that must exist between the Administration and the universities and the capacity that the diary Urbana has demonstrated to be able to articulate it in each and every one of the projects that the signatories are starting up".
Among these actions, according to the Ministry, "the inclusion of the content of the diary Urban in the plans of programs of study of Degrees, master and the realization of workshops and specific seminars on the subject; the articulation of scholarships and partnership of the students in support programs for the implementation of the diary Urban in partnership with the different Local Entities; the articulation of innovative figures of research and knowledge in subject of indicators and open government or the elaboration of Action Plans of the diary Urban in the own campus universities".
