Leticia Bañares, professor at ISSA School of Management Assistants of the University, passed away.

Leticia Bañares, a professor at the University of Navarra, passed away on March 23 in Barcelona, where she was born on March 4, 1959, after a long illness. 

She was a professor at the University since 1989 and her teaching focused on subjects related to Anthropology and Social Sciences in different Schools and Schools, including Tecnun. Since 1992 she taught at ISSA School of Management Assistants and in 2013 she received the Silver Medal from the hands of President, Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero, upon completing 25 years of professional career at the University.

With a degree in Philosophy from the University of Navarra, she obtained the doctorate in Philosophy and in Theology, for seven years she participated in the organization of the conference and international meetings of high school business and Humanism

His research focused on organizational culture and the relationship between work and development human in the business environment and the social dimension. This line of research was linked to his more current research on the role of middle management in organizations and corporate social responsibility. He has published several books and articles in national and international publications.

For Professor Ana María Fernández, of ISSA School of Management Assistants, "I remember Leticia as a pragmatic, friendly philosopher with a great sense of humor. Her life in and out of the classroom was a reflection of a sensitive and rigorous teacher, who believed in her students, to whom she was devoted, and whose friendship she preserved and cared for as the best of treasures".
