With an impressive voice and a careful staging to perform a song by Christina Aguilera, Carlota Palacios, a 2nd year Management Assistant student from Logroño (ISSA-School of Management Assistants), became the winner of the second edition of La Voz de Tu School. The contest, organized by the University of Navarra Museum, celebrated its grand finale with a concert at the Theater, at framework of the activities of the Noche en Blanco.

- What has winning La Voz de Tu School meant to you?

Winning La Voz de Tu School has been an incredible experience for me. I would sum it up as overcoming staff, learning and enjoyment.

- How did you experience the final?

With a lot of nerves but, at the same time, with all my illusion. It was one of the best moments of my life and I would repeat it a thousand times!

- How did you choose the songs you defended?

The choice of the song - Something's got a hold on me, by Christina Aguilera - was mine and Jana Producciones. They proposed movie songs (since it was the theme of the show) and helped us choose the one that best suited our style and voice.

- You thanked your family and friends for having accompanied you on this special night. Did you expect such a warm welcome from the audience that attended the theater?

The truth is that I didn't expect there to be so many people. At first that made me more nervous, but once on stage, the warmth and support of the audience helped me to do better.

- How were the preparations for the final with the other finalists and the Jana Producciones team?

It was a unique experience where my colleagues and I learned a lot, in the rehearsals in Pamplona and the weekend in Madrid. We were very close and we have become friends. In addition, we had the honor of working with Jana's great team: musicians, teachers, organization... Great professionals who managed to get the best out of us and prepare a great show.

- Do you have plans for further training as a singer?

I haven't thought about what to do yet, but what I do know for sure is that I want to continue training as an artist and not stop singing.

- Do you recommend the experience of participating in La Voz de tu School?

Absolutely. To all the people who are thinking about it, I would tell them not to think about it and to sign up without a doubt. It's a great opportunity and you never know how far you'll go!
