"It is necessary to rethink the naturalistic program because it does not affirm all the possibilities derived from Biology and Science". This was stated by the philosopher Francisco Rodríguez Valls at the University of Navarra during the September seminar of the group Science, Reason and Faith (CRYF) focused on "The origins of man", degree scroll of one of his works.

Professor Rodríguez Valls, based on the content of his publication, offered an interdisciplinary update of what we know today about the human being and described what his uniqueness and dignity consist of. He also summarized and evaluated the arguments that the natural science of the last two hundred years and the hermeneutics of the last century have contributed to the explanation and understanding of the human being.

Starting from the Darwinian understanding framework , he reviewed the birth of human corporeality and culture, and addressed the fundamental themes of anthropology: the origin of affectivity, consciousness and freedom.
