Nursing directors of Navarra's healthcare system discuss improvement of patient care

150 professionals participate in a roundtable organized by the School of Nursing of the University of Navarra.

The School of Nursing of the University of Navarra brings together next Thursday, the 28th, the directors of nursing of the Navarra health system. Under the degree scroll "training in nursing: myth or reality?", will be held a roundtable on training of nursing professionals with the goal demejorarla health care, in particular, in the region.

María del Carmen Rumeu, Director of Nursing at IMQ Navarra, will participate in the roundtable . Clínica Universidad de NavarraHospital San Juan de Dios; Inmaculada Lasarte, Director of Nursing at group IMQ Navarra (San Miguel Clinic); Isabel Iturrioz, board member of the high school Oficial de Enfermería de Navarra; and Elena Antoñanzas, Deputy Director of Care at the Navarra Hospital Complex.

Nursing Cycle and Progress

This colloquium is part of the Nursing and Progress Cycle that has as goal to prepare for 2020, declared by the World Health Organization as the "Year of the Nurse and the Midwife". To this end, the School of Nursing of the University of Navarra has joined the global campaign Nursing Now, which has as goal enhance the figure of the nurse, highlighting the need for well-trained nurses. The next round tables and conferences will be held on April 11 in San Sebastian, April 26 in Oviedo and May 15 in Bilbao.
