The University of Navarra Incubator, driven by its Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Innovation Factory, has been recognized as one of the main startup hubs in Europe, according to the ranking "Europe's Leading Startup Hubs 2025" published by the Financial Times in partnership with Statista and Sifted. This ranking, which analyzes different innovation ecosystems, has selected 150 hubs from more than 3,000 invitees by compiling more than 4,300 evaluations from alumni and experts from the entrepreneurial ecosystem in 28 countries.
The University of Navarra, through its Startup Incubator, ranked second in the Mentoring category among all the hubs evaluated. These are the most relevant aspects of the Incubator in the ranking:

In Europe, in addition to the #2 position in Mentoring, it ranks eleventh among the participating universities and #15 in the area of health.
In Spain, the incubator of the University of Navarra is the only health hub in the ranking, consolidating its leadership in the healthtech ecosystem and is the only university selected, recognizing its impact on the generation of new companies.

The study also highlights other centers and hubs such as the UnternehmerTUM, an innovation and start-up center in Munich (Germany), closely followed by Station F (France) and Start2 Group (Germany). The first university in this global ranking, the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of HEC Paris (France), appears in fourth position. As for Spain, Juan Roig's incubator, Lanzadera, appears in seventh position. Spain is the third most represented country, with a total of 17 hubs between accelerators, innovation centers, incubators, universities and other subject of agents.

This recognition reinforces the commitment of the University of Navarra with the promotion of entrepreneurship and innovation, providing an environment of comprehensive support to its students, startups and technology-based spin-offs with the goal of transferring their knowledge and generate a positive impact on society.

Currently, the University of Navarra Incubator has 16 startups invested by its fund (€8.5M), 13 investees (4 in scale-up phase) and 18 projects in the incubator. Since its launch, the incubator has accumulated more than 80 projects studied and a return of nearly €2M in research and development outsourcing to UNAV since its creation in 2023.
