The University of Navarra has published "Pentateuch and Historical Books", written by Professor Francisco Varo. The work is the sixth volume of the "Colección Manuales ISCR", published by the University of Navarra. EUNSA. The book consists of nine chapters, through which the reader will be able to look "at the process of its composition: an exciting adventure, because we will witness closely the concrete way in which God has been revealing Himself over the centuries, in specific geographical and historical frameworks: Egypt, Mesopotamia, Syria, Persia, and especially Israel", as the author explains in the presentation.

"Pentateuch and Historical Books" also offers practical exercises, bibliography where you can expand the knowledge acquired and annexes with the basic outline of the contents of each book, a chronology of biblical history and maps.

Francisco Varo is a professor of Old Testament at the School of Theology of the University of Navarra, and team member of translators and editors of the edition of the Sacred Scripture prepared by the same School and also published by EUNSA. A few months ago he also published "The Bible for Hipsters"with publishing house Planeta. He directs the Diploma online "Biblical Theology" of the ISCR.

The "ISCR Manuals Collection" aims to make the Christian training compatible with a high level of professional quality, with the academic support of the Ecclesiastical Schools of the University of Navarra. The other titles published in this collection are: "Introduction to Theology", "Ethics", "Mariology", "Philosophy of Science" y "Pauline Writings".
