Fares Ibrahim Sami and Alejandra Castiella were elected today as delegate and subdelegate of the University of Navarra. Representatives from the fifteen Schools and schools of the academic center participated in the voting.

Fares Ibrahim Sami, a 4th year Pharmacy student, of Jordanian origin and with residency program in Pamplona for the last 13 years, highlighted an essential goal for this course: that the students know what happens at the University: "That all the Schools know what happens in other centers". He also pointed out that in recent years he has learned a lot as a delegate of the Pharmacy School and now he wants to continue doing so as a delegate of the University.      

For her part, Alejandra Castiella, from San Sebastian and a 4th year Biomedical Engineering student at the Tecnun School of Engineering, stressed that her purpose is to take advantage of this opportunity to"bring the campus of San Sebastian and Pamplona closer together, so that the two can share ideas". He also stressed the importance of representing the students to get all their proposals to Office of the Executive Council.

The delegates, grouped under the name of Student Representation, meet every two months to decide on the objectives set at the beginning of the year, and also on the suggestions that come from all the students. In addition, the Student Representation is part of the board of Governing Body of the University of Navarra, where students are heard and listened to.
