More than 550 students from 40 countries will spend an international stay at the University of Navarra this academic year . In the last ten years this figure has increased by 160%, thanks to the different programs of exchange and the more than 400 agreements that the academic center maintains with institutions around the world, in places such as Australia, Japan, Hungary, Kenya and Mexico.

For their part, 551 students from the University of Navarra will take a overseas study period, in universities in 21 countries.

Both the young people who come to the University with these programs, as well as those who leave, have participated this week in the International Week, an event where the different destinations are made known and experiences about the stays abroad and the different universities are shared.

Information sessions are held throughout the week at all Schools, as well as a meeting with stands or an international candy fair.

300 students participate in a meeting on exchange

As part of the International Week, nearly 300 students from the University of Navarra's EconomicsSchool participated in the International Exchange Fair, a fair on exchange programs. During the workshop, a total of 60 students from 25 countries, who are on an international stay in the academic center, have told their university experience in their countries of origin to the students of the campus of Pamplona.

Among them is Chris van Vliet, from the University of Groningen (Netherlands). "I knew I wanted to come here, but my Spanish is not very good. Fortunately, the University of Navarra does not require students from exchange to speak Spanish," he explains.

Julie Chemutai, from Strathmore University (Kenya), decided to study at the University of Navarra to learn about a new culture and because she wanted to learn Spanish with a good accent. She would advise going to her university to have the opportunity to "meet people from different African cultures" and because it is "the best in central Africa and an opportunity to reinforce her English skills".
