The University, among the 250 best in the world in Economics, Law, Arts and Humanities, and Health, according to Times Higher Education.

According to this ranking, agreement is among the top five in Spain in seven of the nine areas in which it is classified.

The University of Navarra ranks in four areas - Economics, Law, Arts and Humanities, and Health - among the top 250 universities in the world, according to the ranking by areas of Times Higher Education. In Spain, it is among the top five universities in seven areas: Economics (2nd), Law (2nd), Health (3rd, tied with three other universities), Life Sciences (3rd), Arts and Humanities (4th, tied with another university), Psychology (5th, tied with seven other universities) and Social Sciences (5th, tied with four universities).

In area Business and Economics, which evaluates the performance of IESE Business School, School of Economics and ISSA School of Applied Management, the University of Navarra is ranked 96th in the world and the best in Spain at international outreach and teaching. In the area of Law, which includes the Schools of Law and Canon Lawin Law, it is among the 101-125 in the world, in addition to being the first Spanish university in terms of the impact of the research (citations) and in its international approach . In Arts and Humanities (Arts and Humanities), which includes centers such as Philosophy and Letters, Architecture or the Schools of Theology and Ecclesiastics of Philosophy, its position reaches the 176-200 range. Another of the areas in which it is among the top 250 in the world is Clinical and Health, in the 201-250 range. This area includes the teaching and the research of the Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy, which place the University first in Spain in terms of income from industry.

The University of Navarra debuts in the 2023 edition of the Times Higher Education in the area of Education, where it achieves the rank 401-500. In Psychology, in turn, it is positioned in the 301-400 category. In Life Sciences, it obtains a world ranking between 251-300 and is first in Spain in terms of the impact of the research, that is, in the issue of citations of scientific production.

This ranking evaluates universities in 11 different areas based on 13 indicators, grouped into teaching, research, impact of the research (citations), international perspective and private income of the research. Each area establishes a minimum of academic production and professors dedicated to subject to be ranked.

According to the Vice President of Office of Academic Affairs, Secundino Fernández, the results of the ranking by areas "are the result of the daily effort of the professionals of the University. There is a culture of partnership among professors and researchers and among the centers that favors some areas to stand out especially".
