Inauguration of the new exhibition 'El espacio del color' at La Puerta Gótica
On Tuesday, March 25 was inaugurated at La Puerta Gótica'El espacio del color', a new exhibition of 16 paintings by Alberto Ponce.
Alberto Ponce (Barakaldo, 1976) is graduate in Fine Arts and currently combines his artistic degree program with teaching drawing and painting in his own studio in Barakaldo.
Ponce has exhibited in numerous regions of our country and occasionally abroad. As a result, he has received awards and prizes such as the accredited specialization of honor, Saliés de Bearn (France, 2008) and First award competition of Painting El Nuevo Barakaldo (2003), among many others.
Through the initiative www.eleskaparate.com, and together with other artist friends such as Javier Santurtún or Ernesto Glez Barcina, Alberto Ponce tries to bring art to the street, totake art out of the studio and show it to people so that they become permeable to the creative work of so many contemporary artists. Likewise, La Puerta Gótica has the same goal with a university audience.
The exhibition is open to the public until April 11, from Monday to Friday at schedule from 1 to 2 pm and from 7 to 8 pm. The entrance is free of charge.
