Lourdes Flamarique dictated the lecture 'The New Materialisms. Philosophical and Conceptual Contextualization' in the II seminar of Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts of the Antonio de Nebrija University, graduate 'New materialisms and other related theoretical approaches'.
Public discourse
Inés Olza participated in the XX Deutscher Hispanistentag (XX congress of the association German Hispanists), organized by Universität Heidelberg from March 18 to 22. She was also in charge of the scientific coordination of the thematic section 'Phraseology and speech repeated: how language innovates on tradition', which counted with the attendance of 40 researchers from 23 universities in Europe and America.
Cristóbal Pagán organized the panel 'Oral Poetic Discourse and the Construction of Culture: Cognitive, Literary and Linguistic Approaches' at the congress DiscourseNet15 held in Belgrade, Serbia, March 19-21. Within the panel he gave two papers: 'Oral Poetic Discourse: an Introduction' and 'Construction Grammar and Oral Formulaic Theory' (with Mihailo Antović). He also gave the lecture 'The NewsScape Library of News Broadcasts: Big Data for the Comparative Study of average and Culture'.
Ruth Breeze spoke on 'Ideology in Corporate Language: Discourse Anaylsis Using Wmatrix3' at the 7th International Corpus Linguistics congress , which took place at the University of Valladolid from March 5-7.
Ramon Gonzalez gave the lecture 'Silence in language, in tongues and in the speech: Contrastive Notes' in I seminar of Philology (IER-UR) 'History of Words and Words with History' (University of La Rioja, 11-30 March).
Likewise, Ramón González presented together with Dámaso Izquierdo the paper 'Semántica y pragmática de los verbos y modalizadores de opinión en español: funcionamiento como tácticas atenuantes e intensificadoras' in the section 'Fenómenos de intensidad semántico-pragmáticos: atenuación e intensificación' of the XX Deutscher Hispanistentag (XX congress of the association German Hispanists).

Jokin de Irala attended the XXI General Assembly of the Pontifical Academy pro Vita, which took place in Rome from March 4 to 7, 2015 under the theme 'attendance the elderly and palliative care'. Read the news
Cristina López del Burgo gave a session on 50 Shades of Grey in the high school Mayor of Santa María del Lago on March 11. Also, on March 13, she was speaker of the family orientation course 'Sexuality in marriage' held in Zaragoza.
Carlos Beltramo and Carolina Lupo gave a session to the Scouts of La Paz Parish on March 26 on Education sexuality in young people and pornography.

José Ignacio Murillo spoke on March 27 about 'Habits, brains and Education' in the seminar 'Educational participation, attention to the academic staff and ICT', organized by the department of Education of the Government of Navarre.
Fran Güell presented together with psychiatrist Luis Núñez the work 'La dimensión liberalizadora de los hábitos humanos en el contexto de las drogodependencias' at the XLII conference Nacionales de Socidrogalcohol (Logroño, March 12).
Natural law and rationality internship
Alejandro Vigo delivered on March 19 the lecture 'Síntesis categorial y unidad de la conciencia en Kant' at the School of Philosophy and Humanities of the Universidad de Chile. On the 20th he participated in a meeting of the Centro de programs of study Públicos, of which he is a member of committee .
Navarra Center for International Development
Luis Ravina participated on March 25 in the expert round table of the discussion forum 'Preparing the lecture Addis Ababa development ', held at the University of Salamanca. The national enquiry was organized by the Spanish Cooperation in order to present and discuss the Spanish position for the lecture financing that will take place next July in Addis Ababa.
Pedro Mendi travels to South Africa together with the director of the MODERNA Foundation, Cernin Martinez, from March 28 to 31 on the occasion of his project of research funded by the CAN Foundation.
Alex Armand and teaching assistant of research Paul Atwell traveled to Nairobi (Kenya) to participate in the Workshop 'Transparency and Accountability in the Natural Resource Sector', at Strathmore University. They also held several meetings with the African Development Bank, the African Economic Research Consortium and NGOs. Their stay took place from March 2 to 8. Read the news

Carlos Centeno participated as a guest speaker in the Workshop 'Assisting the elderly and palliative care', part of the XXI General Assembly of the Pontifical Academy pro Vita. He gave the lecture 'Advanced care planning' discussion paper on March 5. Read the news.
Also, on March 25 and 26, Carlos Centeno attended together with José Miguel Carrasco a meeting of research with John Ellershaw(University of Liverpool), Stephen Mason (Institute of Ageing and Chronic Disease. University of Liverpool) and Frank Elsner (RWTH Aachen University, Germany), at the Hospital Centro de Cuidados Laguna.
