The La Caixa Foundation has made submission of the study grants of postgraduate program for the next course, and among the awarded students is Laura Martín Mitjana, who will begin in September the Master's Degree in research Biomedical at the University of Navarra. In this way, the student from Lleida will be able to advance in her doctoral research that she will carry out in the department of Gene Therapy and Hepatology of the research center Applied Medicine (CIMA).
With a degree in biotechnology from the University of Lleida, Laura Martín Mitjana completed her programs of study at the Faculty of Live Sciences of the University of Copenhagen (Denmark) where she has developed a project of research in the field of molecular biology.
A total of one hundred students from the postgraduate program course have received the financial financial aid from La Caixa. In total, the economic endowment that will be distributed among the students amounts to 2.8 million euros, with a average of 29,750 euros per scholarship.
