Mónica Herrero, new University Communication Vice President

Gonzalo Robles continues at Office of the Executive Council as Vice President of development and Projects.

The president of the University of Navarra María Iraburu has appointed Mónica Herrero Vice President of Communication, replacing Gonzalo Robles. The appointment will take effect at the beginning of September.

Mónica Herrero returns to full-time also to School in Communication, where she is a professor at department in Marketing and Communication Companies, after a six-year professional period in the communications department of Opus Dei in Rome. Gonzalo Robles will continue at Office of the Executive Council as Vice President for development and Projects, in charge, among other responsibilities, of admission and relations with the directors of development.

Mónica Herrero is a senior lecturer at School, Master in average Management from the University of Stirling (2000) and a graduate in General Administration (PDG) from IESE (2015). She has completed several placements at research, including at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford, during the 2017/2018 academic year. She was Vice-Dean of Alumni at School Communication from 2004 to 2008, and from June 2008 to June 2017, Dean of said School.

The president has stated that "with this change we want to strengthen a fundamental area for the University with a person, Monica Herrero, who to her recognized professional skill in the field of communication adds her experience in government and her academic career. I am grateful for Professor Herrero's generosity in assuming this new responsibility".
