The Science Museum of the University of Navarra will celebrate World Environment Day on Saturday, May 31 with activities for all audiences.

The scientific institution has organized a safari through Pamplona, a cuttings exchange table, crafts, a collaborative mural, puzzles, games and children's workshops, and will exhibit some pieces from its collection.

The Science Museum of the University of Navarra has organized on Saturday, May 31, with the partnership of the Caja Navarra Foundation, activities for all audiences to commemorate World Environment Day. World Environment Day (June 5).

The Science Museum will be at the Civican (Avenida Pío XII 2, Pamplona) on Saturday May 31 from 10 am to 2 pm, so that citizens who wish can participate in a range of activities: from an urban safari to learn about the hidden biodiversity of Pamplona, a table of exchange cuttings, crafts, games and children's workshops. These workshops will be held at 10, 11, 12 and 13 hours and children will make a water purifier, seed bombs and drying flowers. In addition, the Science Museum will exhibit some pieces from its collection.

"We have organized this workshop so that children can learn, through games, crafts and workshops, why it is important to take care of nature and to convey to them that protecting the environment is everyone's business," says Marie-Anne Reynell, director of development at the Science Museum.

A collaborative mural: "End plastic pollution".

This year, the slogan of the World Environment Day is "put an end to plastic pollution" and the Science Museum is going to make a collaborative mural where citizens can place plastic waste in that space. Participants can bring any plastic waste from home (bottles, caps, bags, briks, etc.) and place them on the mural, which will be directed by staff and volunteers from the Science Museum of the University of Navarra.
