"I have been fortunate to have studied at the School of Pharmacy of the University of Navarra, where I received the teaching of excellent professors who train in values as necessary as work and excellence," said the President of the Autonomous Community of Navarra, Yolanda Barcina, at the ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the School of Pharmacy of the University of Navarra held on the 25th. The meeting, which took place in the Baluarte Auditorium, was chaired by Alfonso Sánchez Tabernero, President of the University of Navarra, and Adela López de Cerain, dean of the School. Likewise, Professor Joaquín Giráldez emphasized that the School Pharmacy"has been able to renew itself and adapt, going from the classical era where the profession was understood as a pharmacy office, to today where health specialists in medicines are trained". "The School has managed to integrate pharmacists in health services by adapting to the demands of society. Examples of this adaptation are the creation of the laboratory of Galenica or the Pharmacy Service in the Clinic, as well as graduates who have been working for years in hospitals, health centers and the pharmaceutical industry", he added.
