Raúl Jimeno, Iranzu Viguria and Jasmine Elurbide will represent Navarra in the National Biology Olympiad.
Students from high school diploma received the diplomas of the local phase of the competition at the University of Navarra.

The students of high school diploma Raúl Jimeno (1st award), from the IES Sancho III el Mayor de Tafalla, and Iranzu Viguria (2nd award) and Jasmine Elurbide (3rd award), both from Luis Amigó de Pamplona, will represent Navarre in the national phase of the Biology Olympiadwhich will take place from March 7 to 10 in Madrid.
The three finalists received at the University of Navarra the diploma corresponding to the regional phase of the competition, held at the academic center and in which 115 candidates from the region participated.
A special accredited specialization was also awarded to those classified from 4th to 9th place: Iranzu Zabalza (Jesuitas), Mikel Imizcoz (Calasanz), Amaia Sánchez (IES Sancho III el Mayor de Tafalla), Francisco Javier De la source (Jesuitas), Paula Pañoz (San Cernin) and Javier Ruiz (IES Sancho III).
submission The Dean of the School of Sciences, Ignacio López Goñi; José Manuel Santana, representing the Government of Navarra; and Mariano Larraz, delegate of the association Spanish Biology Olympiad, participated in the awards ceremony. Jaime Martínez-Lage, president of high school of Biologists of Navarra, also collaborated in the organization.
