Work has begun on the remodeling of the ICS headquarters, located in the east wing of . Institute for Culture and Society (ICS), located in the East wing of the Library Services at Humanities.

To carry out the preliminary work, one of the sides of the building -the one that connects Library Services with the stairs of the Communication esplanade- has been fenced off. To facilitate the passage of pedestrians, an alternative path provisional has been placed in front of the building.

During the next six months, during which time the work will be extended, the professionals of high school will use some locations on the Library Services of Humanities, the Central Building and the Amigos Building.

The project runs to position of architect Julio Clúa, professor of the School of Architectureand has the partnership of the architect and artist Fernando Pagola.

The reform will respond to the needs posed by this interdisciplinary research center . It will promote the meeting among researchers and will have flexible and configurable work spaces, both for individual and collective work .
