School of Sciences celebrates World Environment Day

On June 6, several workshops and a exhibition of specimens from the Museum of Natural Sciences of the academic center will take place at Paseo Sarasate in Pamplona.

The School of Sciences of the University of Navarra will celebrate World Environment Day on June 6th with a program that will take place at Paseo Sarasate in Pamplona. The activity is organized by the group of Environmental Volunteers of the academic center.

The goal of the workshop, which is in its fifth year, is promote respect for the environment. To this end, there will be workshops such as"Recycling used oil, make soap","Water to move your car", in which a hydrogen car will be exhibited whose fuel is water and sunlight;"Germination of seeds" or"Recycling toys", among others. There will also be a exhibition of specimens from the Zoology Museum of the University of Navarra.

Finally, the Mancomunidad de la Comarca de Pamplona will install the"Inflatable recycling" to raise awareness among children about the separate collection of waste generated by the city. The celebrations will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. and are aimed at all audiences.
