Academic staff
Professors Santiago Casas, from the School of Theology; Jorge Otaduy, from the School of Canon Law; and Santiago Collado, from the School Ecclesiastical Philosophy, are the representatives of their new centers in the recently created Scientific Advisory Commission of the University. The functions of this Commission are to advise the Office of the Vice President for Research and to intervene in all those processes and tasks related to the research that are requested, as in the case of the project proposals of the Plan of research of the University of Navarra (PIUNA).
Activities in the campus
Wojciech Góralski, professor at the Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw (Poland), gave a lecture at seminar on the School of Canon Law under the title degree scroll 'Aspects of the preparation, content and application of the Polish concordat of 1993'.
Activities outside the campus
Professor José Ramón Villar, from the School of Theology, will offer the lecture 'Order and Eucharist in ecumenical perspective: the intercommunion' within the XXXII International Symposium of Theology of the Priesthood, organized by the School of Theology of Northern Spain, in Burgos.
Professor Domingo Ramos offered the fifth lecture of the series on 'Martyrdom in the History of the Church', organized by the Vicariate of Faith and Culture and the association Catholic Propagandists. The expert in Church History spoke on 'The martyrs of the Church in Spain (3rd-11th centuries)'. The talk can be heard on the website of the Parish of St. Nicholas.
Professor Santiago Collado will give the lecture lecture 'Philosophical and theological questions about Evolution', within the series 'Evolution in the light of science, reason and faith'. The activity will be moderated by Joaquin Boya Balet, president of the Royal Academy of Sciences of Zaragoza. It will take place in Zaragoza and is organized by the Professional Forum Peñalba. [+]
