The New Evangelization, the Second Vatican Council and St. John of Avila, some of the themes of the new issue of "Scripta Theologica".

Scripta Theologica, journal of the School of Theology of the University of Navarra, includes in its new Issue programs of study related to Patrology, Sacred Scripture, the new Evangelization, St. John of Avila and the Second Vatican Council, among other topics.
Among the programs of study of this issue we can highlight those of Samuel Fernández,(Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile) on 'Arius and the initial configuration of the Arian controversy'; that of César Carbullanca,(Universidad Católica del Maule, Chile) 'Passio iusti, passio pauperis en Qumrán. A discussion on martyrdom in Jewish theology'; and that of Jorge F. Herrera, from the School of Theology of the University of Navarra, which carries by degree scroll 'The sayings of "being exalted in the Fathers of the Church"'.
Paul O'Callaghan(Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, Rome) has published a profound analysis of 'The relationship between modernity and evangelization. Maria Helena G. Pratas, (high school Superior de Educação e Ciências, Lisbon), is the author of "Characteristics and Paradoxes of Childhood in the Writings of St. Josemaría.
The magazine continues to dedicate, as it has been doing in recent issues, the notebook 'Fifty years of Vatican II' to programs of study on themes and conciliar documents. In this case, it includes the following works: 'La espiritualidad cristiana en el Concilio Vaticano II', by Pablo Martí (School of Theology of the University of Navarra); and 'Religiones no cristianas y Vaticano II: Nostra aetate y el Magisterio posterior', by René Grimaldi(Universidad del Istmo, Guatemala).
Scripta Theologica also echoes the recent doctorate of St. John of Avila through a grade by Rafael Zafra, of the GRISO (group of research of the Golden Age, University of Navarra) whose degree scroll is 'The Summa of Christian doctrine of St. Peter Canisius: the universalization of the catechesis of John of Avila'.
From the date of its appearance in 1969, Scripta Theologica has made a significant contribution to the development of Theology through the writings of its numerous contributors. The journal is included in the well-known database Scopus (Elsevier) and has received a evaluation of 9,977 according to the MIAR classification.
