The Science Museum University of Navarra will screen openly on its website, from May 1 to 5, some of the finalist films and documentaries of #LabMeCrazy! Science Film Festival. This is another of the proposals of this institution during the confinement period, aimed at the general public, especially families and university students, and with an informative, didactic and entertaining purpose.

"We aim to make their stay at home more bearable for families, but at the same time bring them closer to certain aspects of science in a fun and educational way, which, on this occasion, range from how hordes of sharks behave to the relevance of the role of women in science," says Ignacio López-Goñi, director of the Science Museum of the University of Navarra.

The films can be viewed free of charge through the Science Museum's website from May 1 to 5 and will be open for 24 hours from 12 noon. The Science Museum is offering long films to be shown on May 1st, 3rd and 5th. Thus, on Friday May 1st this activity starts with the screening of "My Love Affair with the Brain: The Life and Science of Dr. Marian Diamond", the winning film of the first edition of the festival; on the 3rd "On Being a Scientist" will be shown, and on Tuesday May 5th "700 Sharks". A combination of short films and documentaries will be shown on May 2 and 4.

The first edition of #LabMeCrazy! Science Film Festival was held in Pamplona from September 17 to 20. It was attended by 1,953 productions from more than 100 countries. The Science Museum is already working on the second edition of the festival to be held in the first months of 2021.
