On May 22, 2025, an academic seminar was held at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Rome) focusing on the role of Spain in the context of the second European post-war period. Under the degree scroll "Il Secondo dopoguerra in Spagna nelle carte italiane e vaticane: l'ipotesi di una Democrazia cristiana spagnola nella prospettiva della transizione monarchica (1945-1950)", the lecture was given by Prof. Marialuisa Lucia Sergio (Università Roma Tre).
The event was attendance by a large number of researchers, students and experts in the history of the Church and Europe in the 20th century. The session was organized by the St. Josemaría Escrivá Historical Institute (ISJE - Rome) as part of its series of seminars on ecclesiastical and political history in the 20th century.
