Enrique Guerrero, professor at School of Communication at the University of Navarra, presented his book El entretenimiento en la televisión española. Historia, industria y mercado (Ediciones Deusto, 2010).

The book makes a historical review of more than half a century through popular titles such as Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez, El precio justo, La roulette de la suerte, Operación triunfo or ¿Quién quiere ser millonario? It also analyzes the television industry, paying special attention to the main networks and production companies, including well-known brands such as Antena 3, Tele 5, TVE, Globomedia and Gestmusic-Endemol.

Finally, the audiovisual content market is studied from approaches as varied as production, programming and audience ratings. In the book the reader will discover a complete study on the past and present of genres such as the game show or reality show, and some notes on the promising future that lies ahead for the multimedia entertainment industry.

During the event, which took place in Civican, a roundtable was held on the "Challenges of digital television in Navarra: content, audience and professionals". In the forum, organized with the partnership of Alumni-University of Navarra, will participate Roberto Cámara (director Canal 6 Navarra), Borja Mora-Figueroa (director General Manager of the committee Audiovisual of Navarra), Enrique Guerrero (author of the book and professor at the University of Navarra) and Mónica Herrero (dean of the School of Communication of the academic center).
