The group Women for Science and Technology holds its summer course in Amsterdam.
A total of 13 women visited Danone Nutricia's research center , the Vrije Universiteit, the Amsterdam Medical Center or the NEMO Science Museum.

The group Women for Science and Technology (WST) of the University of Navarra has carried out its traditional summer training course, thanks to the partnership of Campus Home. This year they have visited the Netherlands, specifically the cities of Amsterdam and Utrecht, where they have been able to make different professional visits in the field of science. Thus, the group has visited Danone Nutricia (Utrecht) where they have been able to learn about different profiles and career paths from the workers of the center.
Another of the stops on this trip was the Vrije University (Amsterdam), where Patricia Fierro (Biochemistry '21), guided them through the student associations in charge of helping students from different Schools and how the internal structure of the academic institution works. visit In Amsterdam they also took a guided tour to the Amsterdam Medical Center, the Catalyze consulting firm and the NEMO Science Museum, where the manager of the educational area explained how the exhibitions are designed and the different activities they promote at knowledge dissemination of science.
During the summer course the group has been able to make some sightseeing tours in these European cities and enjoy meetings with Spanish researchers who develop their professional degree program in the Netherlands and are part of the CENL (association of Spanish scientists in the Netherlands).
"On this trip we have found a country full of opportunities and we are sure that some of us could end up returning here to pursue our curiosity in science," says Amaia Romero de la Maza, a 3rd year Pharmacy student.

Women for Science and Technology is a group of women scientists of the School of Sciences of the University of Navarra (researchers, professors, students and alumnae) that aims to promote the professional excellence of women in STEM areas, through training activities and knowledge dissemination of science. It has a sponsorship agreement with Campus Home.
