On January 21, Professor José Manuel Giménez Amaya gave a lecture at lecture "Body and corporeality in man: some interdisciplinary reflections.Body and corporeality in man: some interdisciplinary reflections"at the Royal National Academy of Medicine.

He highlighted the importance of the morphological programs of study in man, which highlights his most distinctive feature: rationality. He pointed out the importance of the body to understand intimacy, one's own biography staff and the relationships we establish both within ourselves and with the outside world. Finally, he illustrated some examples of human pathology that showed the main ideas that had been pointed out.

Professor José Manuel Giménez Amaya has been Full Professor of Anatomy and Embryology at the School of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Madrid and is a corresponding member of the Royal National Academy of Medicine and the Royal Academy of Pharmacy. In 2011 he was ordained a priest in Rome. He currently directs the group of research Ciencia Razón y Fe (CRYF) and is a professor at the School Eclesiastica de Philosophy of the University of Navarra.
