Idoia Rodriguez, technician at laboratory Flow Cytometry of CIMA LAB Diagnostics, attended the 30th AETEL National congress "Genomics and Targeted Therapies" held in Cadiz on May 25, 26 and 27, 2017.

Idoia Rodríguez made two communications in the mentioned congress: one as first author on the role of macrophages in multiple myeloma and another in partnership with Sonia Gárate, colleague of the same laboratory, on the study of myelodysplastic syndrome associated with multiple myeloma.

In the previous edition, Idoia Rodríguez, presented a communication on the detection of multiple myeloma CTC as a prognostic biomarker and won the 2nd prize award for the best oral communication.

The next annual meeting of AETEL will be next year in Pamplona, since the candidacy presented by Idoia Rodriguez a year ago to the association Spanish Technicians of laboratory was chosen over the other proposals.
