The Science Museum welcomes the students of the 1st year of the program
The students have been able to observe some pieces of the collection and enjoy different experiments on biology, Chemistry and physics.

A new academic year has begun at the University of Navarra and hundreds of first-year students and their families participated in the Welcome Receptionworkshop . The quotation began at 10 am at the sports center of the University with the greeting of the president María Iraburu and with the intervention of some professors of the academic center as Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero, Rosalía Baena, Ricardo Piñero and Ignacio López-Goñi who have transmitted to the assistants some keys for the beginning of the course.
The students were then able to learn about other experiences offered by the University of Navarra for fill in their training such as, for example, languages, sports, , scientific and cultural activities.

academic year. In addition, attendees were able to see some pieces from the collection, such as an eagle, a kite and an eagle owl. There were also experimental activities of knowledge dissemination of Chemistry, physics or biology: from viewing insects, mollusks and crustaceans with a magnifying glass; experiments of Chemistry to understand everyday materials such as thermochromics, photochromics, materials with report, and hydrogels; physics experiments to understand how proximity cards and waves work; and some demonstrations of microbiology.
Finally, the Science Museum has provided some infographics on science that explain the science behind everyday aspects such as a cell phone, a car, a bar code, a beer, a yogurt, a fruit, a loaf of bread or tap water.
The afternoon workshop concluded with a lunch at sports center and a concert at 19:30 at the Museo Universidad de Navarra at position by the Orquesta Sinfónica Universidad de Navarra and the Orquesta Juvenónica Nacional del SODRE (Uruguay).
