On Thursday, November 5, Careers Office celebrates the health and environment forum with a duel between students and companies and a selection process for three stands of work

Next Thursday, November 5th, the University of Navarra will hold the Health and Environment Sectorial Forum at the Careers Office of the University of Navarra is holding the Health and Environment Sectorial Forum at the area of Sciences, aimed especially at students of the Schools of Sciences and Pharmacy, but open to students from all over the campus.

The workshop will start at 9 a.m. with an introduction to the world of work at position by Borja Mora-Figueroa, director of development of the School of Sciences, and will continue with a talk on employment opportunities given by Cristina Martínez, manager of this area in the same School.

At 9:20 a.m., Professor Rafael Miranda will explain to the students the internet resources useful for the search of employment and the sectors of greatest interest for science graduates. Then, the alumni of the Master's Degree in Biodiversity, Landscapes and Sustainable management will tell their experience in the postgraduate program, and Dr. Silvestre Vicent will introduce them to the scope of the research and the doctorate, the grants available for graduates, etc.

Ring with companies and three work

At 11 a.m., the central activities of the workshop will begin with a welcome to the students at position by Cristina Muñoz, director of Careers Office of the University of Navarra. The auditorium of the Science Library will then host a duel with companies at position between six students and six professionals from the sector, who will face each other in a "ring" full of questions. "The goal", as Cristina Martínez recalls, "is for the students to transmit all their doubts to the sector entrepreneurs, who will come from such prominent companies as Johnson&Johnson, 3P Biopharmaceuticals, Iden Biotechnology, Sendaviva, Ernst&Young and Viscofán". At the same time, at entrance hall of the Science Library, there will be a Networking-Open Space where companies will set up their information stands for students to leave their resumes and learn about their offers.

At 12:30 p.m. there will be 3 selection processes for Johnson&Johnson (medical science liaison and medical visitor of the business) and a position of environmental educator and caregiver at Sendaviva (more information can be found in the complete program of the workshop).

The day will close with Jaime del Barrio, senior advisor at Healthcare&LifeSciences, who will speak about the evolution of work positions in this sector. It will be at classroom 17 of the Science Library.
